Things that annoy me: When people shorten 'family'...
‘Fam’ always makes me think of ‘ham’. Or ‘farm’. Which makes it just incredibly irritating because despite previous threats to the contrary I have no desire either to turn my family into pigs and eat them, nor to incorporate them into systemic forms of mass agricultural cultivation and production.
