How would you suggest a 'passive complainer' should engage with politics?
I would suggest that everybody take an interest in political issues and form their own informed opinions on these issues by actively seeking out information instead of vaguely watching the news. If people had read the Carbon Tax legislation and genuinely understood how it worked there wouldn’t be the mass hysteria that surrounds it. By ‘passive’ I meant that too many people just wait for information to be presented to them about issues instead of seeking out usually readily available information. And that this is good for nobody, least of all the people in question
